Let's Go! 2023 Bridal Shows

The holiday season (and the year itself) is now over, but that just means we're moving into bridal season! It's another year and another chance to experience the wonderful madness that are bridal expos. These shows bring together a large number of wedding vendors into what's essentially a "one stop shop" sort of environment for the enterprising bride's every wedding need. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet vendors in person and see their portfolios, be amazed and inspired by wedding trends first hand and sample all the goodies that showcase the collective expertise of said wedding professionals. Further, they can take advantage of the numerous fun specials and giveaways. Whatever the case, it's sure an experience you'll want to undergo at least once with loved ones.

The Many, Many Bridal Shows

But wait, there are so many?! There are a good many large and small events happening in Houston and surrounding areas for the next several months. We've listed a few of the major ones that keep popping up below, but that's not to say that smaller events aren't happening. Be sure to search them out if you'd like a smaller event!

The event takes place Sunday, March 5th, 2023 in Tomball, TX from approximately 12:00pm to 3:00pm. Set up like a "bachelorette party festival" with competition and party style games, the event features local vendors, a food and drink area, a DJ & more! The first 40 Brides to register come for FREE!

A Few Things To Remember

  1. Make a brand new wedding email (and possibly a google voice number) to register for the event itself and/or to give out to specific vendors. Otherwise, you may suffer the endless spam mail from those very same vendors, with some brides reporting years later or even after unsubscribing! For those who don't want the hassle of excess logins, a little trick may be to use 'Plus' addressing. That is, email users can add +whatever to their main address. It makes it easier to filter and block, with the added bonus of not having a new account. So if your email is mywedding@gmail.com you can use mywedding+cake@gmail.com.

  2. Print out a sheet or two of address labels with your information. This way, if you do want to sign up for raffles and other such things, just stick 'em and go and save your fingers in the process.

  3. Have a general idea of your budget and find the fortitude to stick to it! It's difficult sometimes, when you're put on the spot and offered a time-sensitive deal that's just slightly over your budget. Don't be so hasty! There will be so many deals and packages that may seem fantastic, and it's fine and dandy to spend money on what you want no matter what the cost, but it's always a good idea to step back and read the fine print and make sure it's what you're looking for. There are a reported number of brides who signed their dream package only to find that it's not exactly that. Read the fine print!
