Ready, Set, Shop!

The holidays are over, the new year is in, and our newly blushing brides are ramping up to start their wedding shopping experience. The majority of weddings take place in late summer or early fall, so the clock is ticking!

Bridal Conventions

There are in fact several events going on right here in Houston for the wide-eyed bride during these first few months of the year, the biggest being Bridal Extravaganza Show this very weekend! However, we've had numerous clients tell us that the sheer volume of vendors often results in feelings of confusion and/or being overwhelmed.

So it's definitely a fun experience, but remember to go with a firm idea of what you're looking for and what your budget is. You also definitely want to read the fine print when you're signing contracts with vendors. If a deal's too good to be true, there's usually a caveat.

Wedding Boutiques

It's going to be fairly busy this time of year for bridal shops, so definitely book an appointment before you go. Even better, go on a weekday!

The good news is that with both Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 runway styles (finally!) in stores, and a bigger potential for slashed prices and sample sales, you'll be sure to find the perfect style for you!

The less good news is that during this busy season, the majority of designers will have limited stock options and possibly cease to offer rush shipping. Ship times may even extend up to the full six months!

Get ready to find The One and definitely don't hesitate to purchase when you do!
